Hello Old Friend

I know what you're thinking... sloppy joe's are gross right? Well, the kids asked for them for quite a while, so I made them and they weren't so bad! Eating it took me back 20 years to scout campouts (which was the last time I ate one). Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:
1 lb of fresh ground beef
1 1/4 cups of water
1 can (6 oz) of tomato paste
6 hamburger buns
1 packet of Lawry's Sloppy Joes Spices & Seasonings

Brown the ground beef, stir in everything else and bring to boil, serve on buns.

Andy loved her "Sloppy" so much that she suggested we eat them for Christmas dinner and Easter Dinner. We'll have to see about that.

Warning, they are messy!

Those look like fun to eat. Our kids really like sloppy joes also, only I can't use the packet or the cans. We made it using ketchup, bbq sauce, green peppers and onions (minced very small). It is really good. We enjoy them every once in awhile.
